You are praying for a real movement of real people, starting in one city and spreading city by city: Reject Satan. Follow Christ.
Catholics Reject Satan is the Catholic intercessory backbone of a wider movement called Reject Satan. Christians in each city publicly renew the simplest promise of their Baptism, “I reject Satan,” and then live it out by praying, serving their neighbors and standing together. Our part as Catholics is to hold the whole movement up in prayer: the Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, the Holy Mass and the intercession of St. Michael. Each chapter welcomes Christians of every tradition, and we stand behind them all in prayer.
How the movement is built
The global home
RejectSatan.org
The hub for the whole movement: the message, the pledge, and the place where new cities apply to start a chapter. People in cities without a chapter can join there and appear on the movement map until their city has one.
The pilot chapter
Memphis, Tennessee
Memphis is our first city and our test site. The chapter lives out three simple practices, Reject · Pray · Follow, and serves the city by protecting children with Saving Lost Kids, strengthening marriages with Dinner for Decades, and sending mission teams to the Schanzer Eye Clinic in Serabu, Sierra Leone.
City by city
Your city, next
As faithful people step forward in each place, new chapters will open, each with its own home on the web and its own local ambassadors.
Our hope is that every chapter will have a simple address of its own, like:
nashville.rejectsatan.org
chicago.rejectsatan.org
…and one for every city where people say “I do.”
These future chapters are a hope and a plan, not yet a reality. Every city on our map today is a place where someone has actually pledged or volunteered.
How a city lights up
- Someone prays. A Catholic seals the pledge here and their city appears on our intercessory map.
- Someone steps forward. An ambassador in that city gathers others to pray, through Adoration, Rosary rallies and prayer circles.
- A chapter is born. When there are enough people, the city starts its own Reject Satan chapter, with Memphis as the model.
- We keep praying. Every chapter stays covered in prayer by Catholics around the world.
Whom you are praying for
- The Memphis chapter: its ambassadors, volunteers and the families it serves.
- Cities preparing to begin: that God would raise up faithful leaders in each one.
- Every person who has taken the pledge: perseverance, protection and a deeper love for Christ.
- Missing and endangered children in the MidSouth: their safe return, alongside the Memphis Guardian Angel Prayer Team.
- Marriages and families: especially couples strengthening their marriages through Dinner for Decades.
- The Serabu mission: the teams who serve in Sierra Leone each January and June, and the patients they care for at the Schanzer Eye Clinic.
- Families and children in every city: especially the vulnerable, the lost and the forgotten.
- Those far from God: the conversion of hearts, through the intercession of Our Lady and St. Michael.
A simple way to begin: offer one Hail Mary each day for every city on the map.
